Where Magic Begins is Book 1 in The Crowe Sisters series, a YA fantasy (romantasy) centred around two half human, half witch sisters. After their mother married a human, their family was removed from the throne and she gave birth two twins, Saria and Zoeli who could not be more different. Saria is popular, has the school in the palm of her hand and is able to wield magic to her advantage. Zoeli has no magic to use, is an outcast and is not on speaking terms with her sister. However, as secrets are uncovered, danger is lurking in the shadows and sorcerers are revealed, Zoeli is not sure who she can trust. But can she repair her relationship with her sister, find out who she can trust and face off against the supernatural force that is trying to destroy the Crowe family once and for all?

Witches, portals to magical worlds, sibling rivalry that is highly relatable to everyone who has had to navigate the trials and tribulations of secondary school and college, and a kind of enemies to lovers style romance. This book gives you the best of both worlds, in regards to book boyfriends. We have both a dark and mysterious sorcerer, as well as a golden retriever best friend. Why choose! With a strong plot, well rounded characters and a magic system that is interesting to read about, I cannot wait to see how this series progresses.

A brilliant romantasy read with great world building and a cliffhanger ending that I desperately need answers too! Faith is an incredible indie author that more readers definitely need to be introduced to!
